Reincarnation/karma exercise
There is a fairly easy meditation exercise that can bring you to insights in your karma and/or past lives within a week. There may be some hardships or pre-requisites that I am not aware of, that makes it that it’s not mainstream (yet).
It consists of 3 evening moments and paying attention in the mornings, especially the morning of the 4th day.
The first evening you take a(n intense) moment of that day, or not long ago that you can remember, and try to remember that as vividly as you can. As if you’re back in time and seeing it around you. Trying to feel what you felt, remember what you thought, who were around, what was the ambience in the room. This works especially well with a situation where you question why it happened to you.
Then you go to sleep.
Next evening you try to remember the same event again. This may take some effort.
And then you go to sleep.
This you repeat a third time on the third evening.
The next morning is important, because then you will, in a sort of dreamlike way, see into the karmic relations of that moment. Glimpses of past lives.
Make that you have something to write down near your bed, because the memory may disappear during the working day.
The earlier mornings you may already have some insights, or even during the meditations. Know that if you carry on the exercise the insights get more clear, more deep.
