Not clear practical, but I wanted to talk about it, because I just realised how special this is: Rudolf Steiner says that the bible talks about two different gods. There’s the god of the Jews, Jahweh. And there’s the God Jesus Christ talks about, which is, according Steiner, a different God. Two different gods. How confusing.
Christian scholars and Rudolf Steiner talk about 9 levels of spiritual beings above us. Spiritual beings Christians call angels, archangels, etc. Others may call them spiritual guides, guardians. Or gods.
Jahweh is an Elohim, Hebrew word for god. Or gods, plural. There’s a whole discussion about that. According to the scholars and Steiner, the Elohim are the 4th level above us. (I’ll try to make an overview. I’ve got one in Dutch over here. )
The 4th level is also called the Spirits of Form or Shape. They did help create the world, as told in Genesis. Although Genesis could also talk about the whole universe, and then we start to talk about God, capital G.
God, capital G, who Jesus Christ talks about, is above these 9 levels of spiritual beings. God ís the universe, so to speak. And the Elohim (plural) are part of God.
But that’s important. There are two different gods in the Bible, confusingly.
Now I think of it, purely materialistic thought; this sounds as Christians placing their God (capital G) above the Jewish god, lowercase g. Hmmm. That’s a whole other discussion I now might get into.
